Thank you for continuing to pray for the Heath church plant! Here’s a timeline of where we’ve seen God at work:

Summer 2017: Over several months of praying, talking, and wondering whether God might be leading TRCC to plant a church, the pastors and elders were encouraged to see the Lord provide each step of the way and make this possible.

September 2017: We held our first meeting in Heath, Texas. Twenty adults and six kids enjoyed a time of worship, teaching, communion, and prayer. Each family echoed such thankfulness knowing their TRCC-Anaheim Hills church family was praying for them during this new adventure.

October 2018: The Heath Team began meeting regularly to pray for one another, the community, and the next steps in the church plant process.

December 2018: Pastor Mark and a team in Heath began the pastoral search process and were encouraged to find four pastoral candidates eager to church plant and preach the Bible in North Texas.

February 2018: After hours of interviews, the team unanimously agreed and the Elders confirmed one candidate as the best fit for TRCC’s values and commitment to God’s Word. We are praising the Lord for unity in this decision and His faithful provisions.

Please join us in welcoming and praying for Chris DuBose, Senior Pastor of our church plant in Heath, Texas.

Chris & his wife, Renee, have been married for 6 years and are parents to daughter, Finley (5) and son, Deacon (3). They currently reside in Garland, TX — just 30 minutes from the church plant in Heath. Chris has 10 years of ministry experience and holds an M.Div from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Chris has a passion for church planting, love for people, and deep commitment to hold fast to the preaching and teaching of God’s Word.

The plan is to launch with monthly services in Spring 2018, then begin weekly services in September 2018.

Please continue to join us in praying for God’s Work to be done through this church plant.
